Libya: Liam Fox admits “may have to deploy ground troops"?

Liam Foc, the defence sec in the UK has admitted that we “may have to look at deploying ground troops" to identify “safe havens for civillians". He quickly reiterated that there was “no intention to deploy soldiers on the Libyan border", according to scattered reports the Libyan regime has offered a response that consists of “any deployment of foriegn troops in Libya would be a declaration of war and we will retaliate without mercy". This intervention to “protect civilians" now seems to be moving, slowly, towards a full scale deployment of troops in Libya to assinate Gadaffi. Is this where we are going? Another costly war in the middle east? a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/libya/8478432/Libya-Britain-may-have-to-look-at-deploying-ground-troops.html" rel="nofollow"http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnew…/a
